Snow is so Smooth

This is it, we finally had our first drops of snow here in Waterloo. Sadly (or not) since Canadian actually fear cold (can you believe it, even if I saw a guy biking in shorts in the snow) it did not remain on the ground, too hot oooooh too bad.

This is when you feel like a child on a christmas morning!!! Yes it is, you wake up from a night of dreams, endlessly pointing towards dawn and the receiving of gifts. Yes, you wake up and there it is too, a gift for Christmas, that as kids we all loved. Snow is about dreams where everything is pure and it arrived, today. Everything is white and snow flakes are like a caress, soft and freezing, when you receive one you're happy.

So there we were this morning, slowly waking up from a night full of dreams, getting downstairs, opening one's eyes on the reality again. But this time the reality surprises you with these drops of flakes, all different!!! None is like the other, just like us and yet they all combine to create a perfect day ;)

Like kids, my roomy and I started to be like kids again: Snow!! Snow!! Snow!! Yes we can't help it, it always has and it always will have the same effect. Excitement, breakfast, shower, pants, socks, shoes, scarves, hats and all, and there you're ready to go and feel it, enjoy it!!

Biking during a snow shower is awesome, not only it refreshes your face but it's also beautiful, those little drops landing on you, fading away as if nothing happened, just like any instant of present fades away...

Canada, you made my day today, thanks for those little prolepses of my future happiness in the snow of Waterloo ;)
